Whitehorse

On our 45-minute walking tour of Whitehorse, informed guides take visitors on a journey back in time, revealing more than a century of the city’s heritage through fascinating stories about its historic buildings, unique architecture and local landmarks. The tours will help you to understand the evolution of Whitehorse from a mere tent town to the capital of the Yukon. Tours depart from the Donnenworth House located in Lepage Park, the “Little Park in the Heart of the City.”

The Donnenworth House features a temporary exhibit Through the Yukoner’s Lens: Eye on Heritage. The exhibit features an array of beautiful photographs of heritage sites around the Yukon as seen by Yukoners. Open Monday to Friday 9: am to 4:00 pm. The small gift store at Donnenworth House includes limited-edition reprints of historical maps, heritage books, postcards and pins. Self-guided walking tour books are also available.
